Ben Watt releases his new album "Fever Dream" on April 8th on his own Unmade Road label. It is Ben's 3rd solo album and the follow up to 2014's Hendra which I also featured on. It was recorded in a short live session last autumn at Rak's small and wonderful studio 2, one of my favourite rooms, where I recorded with McAlmont & Butler, The Libertines, The Tears, Kate Nash and many others. The band comprises Rex Horan on bass and Martin Ditcham on drums. The first cut "Gradually" can now be found on Spotify and the lovely accompanying video can be found here . I played my gorgeous cherry red Gibson 295 Memphis for most of the record through a half cocked wah-wah on its lowest setting, and through both a Lazy J J20 and 1964 Vox AC10 Twin.
